Former CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien is celebrating her 50th birthday today, September 19, and added another line to her long journalism resume. This month she began hosting the Hearst-backed syndicated Sunday morning political show Matter of Fact.
Rather than the typical opposing views and unchallenged talking points approach some of the Sunday morning shows take, she plans to focus on policy issues.
Through her Starfish Media production company, she is also working on a documentary about how high-level military people transition into the job market.
