I saw this story this evening. It is disturbing that the media portrays Muslims like, "poor souls" that get the brunt of American bigotry and hatred. While watching this, I turned to Christian Refugees on EWTN which spoke of the sheer fear for Christians living under Muslim Rule. They are separated from their families, persecuted for their faith, become refugees to other countries to avoid persecution or death. Young girls are stolen and forced to marry muslim men, bear children and convert to Islam, but that is never shown on the news or cable news. What media and higher education would have us believe is that all religions are the same. But to those practicing their faith, there are huge differences. The bottom line is that, this country was founded on the Bible, like it or not. The rule of law, our laws and society were based on the Bible. Our schools used to teach reading in school so that kids could read the Bible for themselves. I do believe in freedom of religion, but if it is based on nothing which is not the case here in the US, then we have no foundation and the loudest voice wins and the customs follow. Historically Christian countries that are quite secular now are tiring of islamic tirades and takeovers. The fact that Sharia law is being discussed in our courts to be implemented for islamic rule of law instead of our constitution as the law of the land is revolting. The muslims with the help of the camera speak of peace and the peaceful practice of their religion, yet all of the world, violent outbursts erupt from Islamic nations. Islam has no room for fredom of religion, it creeps in and erodes our American culture while stories like this skew the truth behind what islam wants to accomplish, which is a takeover, eventually, little by little, over time.
