The recent CNN "Black In America" series will be released on DVD on September 2nd.
Hosted by Soledad O'Brien, the documentary series addresses stereotypes and challenges that African-Americans face today.
The original broadcasts drew over 2 million viewers and created much discussion, pro & con, on the Net. The DVD release should bring it not only a wider audience, but inclusion in classrooms.
The DVD can be ordered now through Amazon.com. Later, it will be available at Wal-Mart, Target, and other major retailers.

I did not agree with about a third of what was presented in this series, but it is well worth watching and discussing.
