“An Evening With Richard Parsons”

Time Warner Inc. chairman Richard Parsons will be the subject of PBS-TV celebrity series, The HistoryMakers.

“An Evening With Richard Parsons” will be taped November 15th in front of a live studio audience at George Washington University’s Jack Morton Auditorium in Washington, D.C.

CNN anchor and special correspondent Soledad O’Brien will take Parsons through a discussion of his life and career. Journalist Juan William will serve as master of ceremonies. The special is slated to air nationally on PBS-TV, beginning in February.

“An Evening with” is the hallmark celebrity interview program and fundraising event of The HistoryMakers, with the Parsons' program the 16th entry in the series. To date, this series has raised millions in supporting the development of archival, educational resources and preserving the rightful place of African-Americans within the American lexicon.
